Available in two sizes: 6"x 9" (15x23cm), sold in packs of eight and 8"x18" (20x46cm) sold in packs of three. Ready Sheet packs are equivalent to a single full size sheet and cost the same. Convenient sizes can be stored easily. Precut sheets save wear and tear on your hands with no more scoring and cutting of full size sheets. Available in any North Coast thermoplastic material. Minimal to moderate resistance to stretch allows moderate handling throughout the molding process. Material can be handled firmly without showing fingerprints or other marks. Moderate drape offers conformability for an intimate fit. Moderate memory allows the splint to be reheated and partly remolded without excessive thinning or change in shape. When heated, has a slightly tacky surface, which helps the material stay in place. Apply dry heat and pinch together firmly to achieve a permanent bond. No solvent is needed. Minimum rigidity gives the finished splint some flexibility for greater wearing comfort. Material cuts easily when warm, leaving smooth, rounded edges. Orfilight floats in water due to its unique composition; hold it down in the water to soften. When ready, the edges will lift. 1/8in Orfilight is excellent for more supportive functional day or night splints for hands, forearms, fingers and thumbs.
