NCM Classic™ Ready Sheets
Available in two sizes: 6"x 9" (15x23cm), sold in packs of eight and 8"x18" (20x46cm) sold in packs of three. Ready Sheet packs are equivalent to a single full size sheet and cost the same. Convenient sizes can be stored easily. Precut sheets save wear and tear on your hands with no more scoring and cutting of full size sheets. Available in any North Coast thermoplastic material. Maximum resistance to stretch allows aggressive handling to shape and mold the material. Remains firm to control unwanted movement while molding. Minimum drape allows for conformity control. Material can be molded around smaller contours of the arm w/o fingerprinting or stretching. Min. to mod. memory helps stretched material return to original cut shape. Splints have max. rigidity and do not require reinforcements. Upper/lower extremity splints remain firm to provide good stability. Uncoated material provides a slightly tacky surface when warm, keeping material in place. Can be used over bandages. Strong bond - dry heat both surfaces, firmly pressing together. Permanent bond - use solvent dry heat prior to pressing together. Use for contracture splinting, especially larger body joints, trunk/back supports and serial static splinting. Heat using 160° to 170° F (71° to 77° C) water, soften in hot air oven or microwave oven to 160° F (77° C) (use with a carrier sheet). Sets up in
