Patient comfort is improved by low impedance of the active electrode and a large ground electrode surface area. Delivers ions up to 80 mA-min with a precise pH balance using new Carbon-Ag/AgCl technology, eliminating pH shifts that can alter the pharmacokinetics of the drug or cause skin irritation and burns. Features a large surface adhesion area and a highly absorbent drug matrix, eliminating the need for messy hydrogel. Cutout window around the drug matrix protects adhesive from reservoir over-saturation during drug application and makes it easy to see when the matrix is properly hydrated. Made from non-sensitizing, hypoallergenic, medical-grade materials. Trivarion™ is available in three sizes: Small (1.5cc), Medium (2.0cc), and Large (3.5cc). Each individually wrapped kit contains one active delivery electrode, one return electrode, and one alcohol prep pad. Sold in boxes of 12 treatment kits. Electrodes are single use, disposable, and non-sterile. Trivarion™ electrodes are compatible with FDA-cleared constant current iontophoresis devices.
